7. Sleep in a comfortable position Sleeping on your tummy, may cause stress on the urinary bladder, causing urine to leak, especially at night. Finding a solution to nocturnal urinary incontinence may take some time. Working on your sleeping position, can help you to protect yourself from urine leaks.
8. Go frequently before bedtime If you wake up several times at night to urinate, this may indicate a more serious health problem. Consumption of an ample amount of liquids before going to bed can aggravate incontinence and cause leaks. Putting off going to the washroom especially just before sleep means that you cause your bladder to holding pee for a long time. This regularly can cause bladder muscles to weaken. Make it a habit to visit the bathroom as frequently as needed, especially before bedtime to relax your bladder. Do not use the phone or work just before you sleep, instead take a minute to visit the washroom before falling asleep.
